Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at the National Mall and then marched to the White House to show support for the women of Iran. On this day, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) issued a warning that “this ominous sedition will bring no happy ending to you”. This warning may come at a significant human cost, but activists in Iran and the diaspora continue to mobilize a global movement that challenges the regime at its core.
